I rent here several times a year. The people are always great and the cars clean. I wish I didn't have to settle for "free upgrades" to big cars when I've reserved a small one so often, but that isn't their fault.
I've always had a great experience renting cars here. This time I even made the mistake of arriving 4 hours after the supposed pick-up time, but besides pointing it out to me for next time, the lady at the counter was very nice and just did as if nothing had happened.
Always friendly associates and willingness to help with any situation that arises. Love the flexibility as it is needed in the travel industry.
Horrible car rental experience I have ever had. There are bunch of other good companies such as Hertz and Avis, so don't even go near this company.
Need to give a super grand shout-out to Elyse/Elise Porter. Due to a whole lot of circumstantial problems and a time crunch, our rental price was hiked up by A LOT and we couldn't afford it. We tried for a really long time to contact people and try to figure something out and were really stressed out. A lot of really crucial life/career events were hinging on us being able to make this road trip the next day. She was very thorough in explaining the options we had and the best she could do but ended up giving us a free upgrade because she saw how stressed out we were. I think that's a really hard thing to do when you want to respect company policy but also provide quality customer service. We will for sure be renting with National again and she deserves like a raise or promotion or endless miles with National for the rest of her life. Thank you so much!
