Always clean and employees are very friendly and helpful. Love this Wal-Mart.
Best Walmart in the CU area. It's less crowded, cleaner and IMO, friendlier than any of the others. Same great prices. I like using the FREE curbside pick up (unlike other stores) and the Savings Catcher program that automatically checks to see if there were any lower advertised prices and credits your account with the difference. I typically get anywhere from 3% to 6% back which if you pay with Walmart pay is automatically used when you check out next time in store. I've also compared prices with other local stores and nothing comes close to the savings on name brand groceries. I think I save about 25% on the items overall compared to other grocery stores in town. I still do some shopping at other stores for some, but not all fresh produce. They've improved in that area but are still behind if you want high quality produce.
Great store and nice employees, but terrible service when it came to the auto center. We read the bad reviews before we went there and wow, were they dead on. I just needed a patch in my tire and the guy was reluctant to even help us, he made it seem as if we were bothering him. I don't recommend anyone to bring their car here.
Generally don't go to this store. There's a better Wal-Mart in nearby Savoy. I prefer Sams Club.
I like this Walmart better than the one in Champaign. It seems to have a broader selection of products, although some are in low quantities (like low calorie lemonade). Also, for some reason there's no phone service with T-Mobile, but at least their WiFi is decent
